Top 5 Personal Finance Budgeting and Planning Apps on Android in UAE for Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five personal finance budgeting and planning applications on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

MySalary - Manage your money had consistent weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late June and peaking at 1.5K in mid-July. The app maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, ending September with 1.5K downloads. However, it did not generate any weekly revenue during this period.

Splitwise experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads ranged from 318 to 573, with a noticeable peak in early August. Revenue saw significant variation, starting at $61 and reaching a high of $129 at the end of August. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 3.3K and ending the quarter at 3.4K.

ADCB MoneyBuddy had a notable increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Downloads started at 796 in late June, dipped to 208 in mid-July, and surged to 768 by the end of September. Despite the increase in downloads, there was no recorded revenue for this app during the quarter.

FH Personal showed a steady download rate with some fluctuations. Weekly downloads varied from a low of 173 in mid-July to a peak of 507 at the end of August. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.

CashBook: Business Ledger Book saw a steady increase in active users, starting at 624 and reaching 705 by the end of September. Weekly downloads also showed an upward trend, starting at 263 in late June and peaking at 412 in late August. Similar to some other apps in this list, CashBook did not record any revenue during Q3 2021.
